PA (Personal Assistant) services and companionship care

Some people prefer the consistency of having one-to-one support from someone they know well and get on with. This is one of the many benefits of having a Personal Assistant (PA) or Companion Carer.

There may be times when you just need a little bit of extra support or even some company and conversation. Perhaps you’d like someone to help you visit friends and family or attend social events. Our PAs and Companion Carers are armed with a friendly smile and a listening ear to support you.

It is your choice as to how much, how often and what kind of companionship care you require. We will help you to find the right PA or Companion Carer for you – someone you can bond with and feel comfortable talking to.

What is a Companion Carer?

Companionship is the company of another person whom you enjoy spending time with. Companionship care, also known as companion care, provides support for those at risk of loneliness and isolation, such as the elderly and those with mobility issues, who may find it more difficult to get out of the home and socialise.

Our Companion Carers are closely matched to your needs, interests and preferences so that you can build a relationship based on trust and mutual understanding. This can also relieve pressure on family members, knowing that their loved one has both practical and emotional support when they need it.

Our Companion Carers and Personal Assistants (PAs) can provide:

  • General companionship and conversation
  • Emotional support
  • Carer assisted travel
  • Support to attend social events or engage in community activities
  • Company to engage in hobbies
  • Encouragement to engage in work or study
  • Help with domestic chores and errands
  • Respite for other caregivers, including family members
